The main duties and responsibilities of the Market Analyst will include:

  • Maintain, update, expand and check Piras internal print, packaging and other market databases
  • Ensure statistics in reports are consistent and accurate
  • Format and also help devise market research surveys
  • Maintain and expand data sourced from/contact secondary information sources
  • Extract appropriate data from databases for use in market research reports
  • Report writing

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience for the role of Market Analyst:

  • Graduate calibre, preferably in economics or maths/statistics discipline
  • A-Level maths and statistics
  • 2 years plus experience of primary and secondary market research
  • High level of numeracy
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
