The main duties and responsibilities of the Market Analyst will include:
- Maintain, update, expand and check Piras internal print, packaging and other market databases
- Ensure statistics in reports are consistent and accurate
- Format and also help devise market research surveys
- Maintain and expand data sourced from/contact secondary information sources
- Extract appropriate data from databases for use in market research reports
- Report writing
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience for the role of Market Analyst:
- Graduate calibre, preferably in economics or maths/statistics discipline
- A-Level maths and statistics
- 2 years plus experience of primary and secondary market research
- High level of numeracy
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail

- Undertaking non routine tests on food contact materials to ensure that they comply with all legal requirements and do not contaminate foods.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience for the role of Analytical Chemist:
- Graduate with a degree in chemistry, or other chemical science with an analytical chemistry component or non graduates with suitable experience
- Previous experience of working in an analytical laboratory
- Experience of GC, GC-MS and HPLC techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of preparing reports
- Computer literate.
