Dennison wax pick testing

Dennison Wax Pick TestingOriginally designed as a test for printing press performance, the Dennison wax pick test is used to measure the pick resistance of papers - the exception being papers having a synthetic binder in the coating. It is also commonly used as a guide to hot melt glueability.

A wax number representing the wax which just resists surface rupture is determined in accordance with TAPPI T459 OM-93.
